The internet is a collection of electronic files linked together like a spider’s web.
The internet has been around since the 1960’s.
The internet was developed by Lawrence Roberts by connecting two computers using a telephone line.
The internet is controlled by no one, but everyone who uses the internet has a part in controlling the internet.
Protocols make the rules and govern how the Internet is used.
The Internet has evolved into a global publishing medium.
The original design of the internet has affected its development by allowing the internet to be continually changing and updated.
I think the internet will be used in the future by being able to get online without using an electronic device, and you can be anywhere on Earth and anywhere on the Internet.

The internet is also known as the World Wide Web. The World Wide Web is a collection of electronic data files. These files are stored on computers which can be reached throughout the world. The Web has changed throughout the years and has really had an impact on our way of life. The Web makes it easier to handle technology. The internet can be found on your personal computer or mobile device. The URL (Uniform Resource Locater) will take you to the web page that you're looking for. A web site branches off to better explain the subject. Text links allow you to mouse over the text to get to a different web page.
The internet has been around since the 1950’s. The main developers of the internet were Leonard Kleinrock and Lawrence Roberts to connect to other universities. General Keith Alexander is the commander of USCYBERCOM. The World Wide Web Consortium is said to govern the internet. The internet has truly changed from the 1950’s to the present. The computers have become lighter in weight and they can hold more information. I think that the internet will be used to create technology and medicine that has yet to be discovered. The internet takes up a large portion of my life. I use my computer for homework and social life.

I don’t know because I don’t know what the internet was like before.

The Web is a collection of electronic files that are linked together.
Nobody can pin down the exact date of the Internet’s creation, because many inventions and ideas led to its creation. But the closest to an actual date people can come to for its creation is around 40 years ago.
The Internet was developed in part by three men: J.C.R Licklider, Leonard Kleinrock, and Lawrence Roberts. The Internet was developed partly so that there was a type of communications network that would work even if some sites were destroyed by some kind of nuclear attack.
General Keith Alexander controls the Pentagon’s cyber networks, but I don’t believe that any one person really can control the whole Internet.
No one makes rules as to how the Internet can be used. Sites can be blocked, virus’s sent into a person’s hard drive, but nobody can control what the Internet does. Like Eric Schmidt stated, “The Internet is the first thing that humanity has built that humanity does not understand.”
The Internet has evolved from being an expensive, time-consuming endeavor that only the wealthy or scientists used, to a common household item used by almost everyone.
I think in the future, the Internet will be used for virtually everything we will need to do. We can already shop for basically anything that we would ever need, and research anything we want to know. In the future, people will just become more and more dependent on the Internet.
The Internet makes it much easier to find information that I might need to know for school work, it helps me keep in touch with family and friends, and allows me to view the most up-to-date news and opinions.

The Internet is a worldwide group of electronic files that are linked together.
The Internet has been around since about 1969 when Tim Berners-Lee, J.C.R. Licklider, Robert Taylor , and others got involved.
They first created this as a Defense Department project. It was for wartime digital communications because the telephone system was problematic.
No one controls the Internet. Separate governments have control over their own citizens, but the Internet is managed by several well-known organizations that work together, like the Internet Society .
These groups work in a relatively democratic environment to participate in research, management, and improvement of the Internet.
The internet evolved so much over the years. At one time, if you wanted to retrieve a file, you had very high phone bills to call the computer you want to connect with.
The original design of the Internet affected its developments in a positive way, because it led the way for others to improve and create what we have today.
I think I will use the Internet at college for every assignment. I will also use it someway at work in the future.
The internet has affected my life greatly. I use it every day at home, in school, and everywhere I go on my phone. Without the internet today, most thing would be impossible, like having almost everything at our fingertips.

DARPA Invented for the US army.
The Internet isn’t controlled my anything.
Every autonomous network on the internet makes its own rules.
The internet has evolved by becoming more efficient as more people used it.
The original design of the internet was to help the army, but people kept adding and adding to it. It changed from being just useful to the army to being useful to everyone.
I think the internet will be changed in the future by being faster and more helpful to us.

The Internet has been around since the 1960’s.
The initial idea was Leonard Kleinrock’s, and the creators of the Internet are Steve Carr, Steve Crocker, Jeff Rulifson, Ron Stoughton, Paul Baran, Thomas Marill, Lawrence Roberts, and Barry Wessler. They developed the Internet because the government needed a way to communicate with each other so that they could beat the Russian’s to the moon.
The Internet is controlled by no one.
The rules that govern how the Internet is used are created by IETF, IESG, RFC’s, and The World Wide Web Consortium.
The Internet has evolved from being used for only government/military purposes to people all over the world being able to communicate and share their thoughts across the world. Also people can now find information in seconds when using the search engines on the Internet.
The original design of the Internet has affected its development by instead of only government and military officials being allowed to use it to everyone being allowed to use it and share their thoughts and find information quicker and more efficiently.
In the future I think people will be able to use the Internet to operate their houses, like closing the windows, no matter where they are, and they will be able to operate almost everything off of their cell phone while there halfway across the country.

It was Leonard Kleinrock’s idea of the internet. But many people helped develop it. It was for others to share information on research and development in scientific and military fields.

The Internet evolved a lot; you can research anything and find it. It was just for military and scientific purposes but now people have social networks for communication. There were not things like that when the internet came out, it has evolved a lot.
The original design of the Internet affected its development by having it just for the military and government allowed to use it to everyone using it. It spread around for people to research and communicates between it.
