Web 2.0 technology helps users on this site because it gives them a variety of options to choose from on what to do and it clearly states things and also it gives you many links and allows you to watch videos and play games and most importantly communicate with other people around the world. Web 2.0 helps this site become more popular because now there is many icons that you can use and it is the biggest social networking site out there that lets you communicate with anyone around the world.

I compared Google's past site to the present site using the Wayback Machine. The benefits of Web 2.0 technology for Google is extreme. The technology from Web 2.0 helps users easily and conveniently find their topic , research information, or website. They also get to see their search results that relate more to their search. Web 2.0 helped Google become more popular, because if searching the internet was inconvenient, no one would have any interest and would just go to libraries or stick to typing in URLs. When Web 2.0 gave Google the ability to search specifically and to auto-complete searches, people found Google as a very useful tool. Web 2.0 has also sttracted people with Google's animated titles. Today, Google is definitly more accessable because of Web 2.0.

The site I chose is the United States Equestrian Federation. The benefit of Web 2.0 for the USEF site is that they can post pictures and videos of the games, the championships, and many other horse shows. When they do this it allows others to see how the US team does at events and the placing’s and turnout of the shows. The USEF site has become more popular with Web 2.0 because we can find out what happened at the international and national horse shows, access rules, and so much more. Web 2.0 also attracted more customers by people being able to register their horses and ponies online instead of having to fill out the paperwork and mail it in.

Web 2.0 technology has helped the website wayne.edu because it used to have only a few links, and now it has big pictures, is updated daily, and the areas(athletics, admissions, academic programs, campus and community, etc) now have things like videos uploaded every day, and scrolling pictures to get your attention and to read the article, which might help your decision to go to WSU for college.

  10. Web 2.0 helped google because now there are more links for more things to do from a calendar to games and a blogging site and many other things.

  11. With Web 2.0 technology, it makes websites more fun and interactive for the user, making the user want to visit the website more often. One of the websites that I compaired was Cool Math. About 13 years when coolmath.com was created, it was very basic and plain. But now, there are a lot of colors and numbers that follow the mouse. It makes math... cool!

In the way back time machine project I compared Google back then to Google now. Before, Google was very small with no or little web 2.0, Now Google in very extensive and it makes it easier to find what you’re trying to find. There are more icons and more categories. Before it barely had a search box, now you can find something by clicking the right icon.

When doing the way back time machine project we compared the old Google to the new Google. The old Google didn’t have as much links you can click on. Also there wasn’t auto complete, which completes your word you’re searching in so you don’t have to type all of it. Web 2.0 made Google so much easier to access.

I think that how much Google has changed from being no 2.0 tehconogly to an amazing website with millions of sites attached to it is just incredible.

  15. Overall, the sites on the wayback machine assignment varied equally. Every site had found a way to improve visually and content wise. Alot of sites have been made more effiecient. It's cool to look at all the changes with the Wayback machine.
